Do you have friends or family members who are very new bridge players interested in advancing their knowledge of bidding and play? Beginning February 19, at 10:00 a.m., HBC will run a series of six 2-hour lessons designed just for them. Each 45-minute lesson will be followed by an hour and 15 minutes of assisted play. Lessons will cover these topics:

• Stayman convention (February 19)

• Jacoby convention (February 26)

• Takeout doubles (March 5)

• Negative doubles (March 12)

• 2NT openers (March 19)

• 2 Club openers (March 26)

These lesson are at the bridge club. No partner is required. Buy a single session (or more) for just $10 each. Or buy all 6 for $60!

Note: We know that many of our members have taken some or all of these lessons before, but have been away from the bridge table for a long time. If you or someone you know would like to come just for the assisted play, which will start at 10:45 a.m., please feel free to do so. The cost for that will be just $5.
