Minutes

 


Present: Lou Brown, Bill Watson, Marge Lennon, Libby Pearl, Mike Dworetsky, Larry Wallowitz, Bev Saunders, Tom Gerchman, Gene Copa,  Reg Harvey, and Donna Feir, Club Manager. Also present were Susan Seckinger, Donald Fosberg, Elizabeth Garner, Bunny Kliman and Peter Marcus.

Secretary’s Report:  The Secretary’s report was accepted.  Reg Harvey will post the minutes to the Web.

Treasurer’s Report:  The Treasurer’s report was accepted.

Club Manager’s Report:

1. The table count for February, 2010, was 361; in February, 2009, it was 453.

2. There are 477 paid members.

3. The insurance company will pay $800 for the two days we were closed in February,
2010.

Old Business:

1. An honorarium was presented to Chuck for his good work with the renovation.

2. We shall be receiving another payment from the insurance company.

3. Due to the decrease in table count, it may be necessary to increase the table fees.

New Business:

1. The Styroform cup issue was discussed and will remain unchanged. Members may bring and clean their own cups.

2. An e-mail from a member, alleging bias was received and was read. We shall follow  up on the allegations that were made.

The next meeting will be on April 15, 2010 at 5:00 p.m..
