Hartford Bridge Club
Present: Lou Brown, Bill Watson, Marge Lennon, Libby Pearl, Mike Dworetsky, Larry Wallowitz, Bev Saunders, Tom Gerchman, Gene Copa, Reg Harvey, and Donna Feir, Club Manager. Also present was Pat Salve. Secretary’s Report: Accepted with corrections. Reg Harvey will post the minutes to the Web after they are approved. Treasurer’s Report: Accepted. Club Manager’s Report: 1. The table count for January, 2010, was 610; in January, 2009, it was 560. 2. There are 459 paid members. 3. The New England Energy Co. installed new lighting. 4. There will be a Life Master party and an Individual game on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. It will also be a Club Championship. Old Business: 1. The Board voted not to place restrictions on the Pairer Player issue. 2. The Board authorized Donna to sign the document from New England Energy Co. 3. The Board voted to take no action on the Life Time Membership issue. 4. Larry discussed the renovation items. Larry suggested returning part of the unused carpet and to offer Chuck, the cleaning person, a monetary gift for all his diligence in making The HBC a beautiful facility. New Business: 1. The Board voted to take no action on the Slush Fund issue. 3. People make contributions at their discretion.
The next meeting will be on March 25, 2010 at 5:00 p.m..
